I had some drama, and I missed alot of Buffy and Angel.Thanx to syndacation, I just now saw the last Buffy episode.
I did catch most of Angel's last season.

Someone, we're led to believe Lindsey, dug up the amulet Spike wore from the ruins of Sunnydale and sent it to Angel at Wolfram&Hart. When he opened it, Spike was released as a vampire-ghost. Sometime later, Harmony got a phone call that released something-or-other and turned Spike back into a normal vampire. Again, we're led to believe Lindsey did all of this, but I don't know if anyone knows why. -

Sat, June 26, 2004 - 5:23 PMMy understanding is that Lindsey deliberately sent the amulet to Angel, knowing that it would trap the essence of whatever ensouled vampire wore it. Spike wore it and became trapped inside the amulet, which was probably Lindsey's intention all along, in an effort to bring a second ensouled vampire to Wolfram & Hart to serve as a counter to Angel who had been sucked into the firm.
Lindsey made Spike corporeal again only after he had developed an emotional attachment to the firm, in hopes of setting him against Angel or perhaps simply to cause confusion for Angel in regards to the Shanshu prophesy--which tells of a vampire with a soul who after fighting in several apocalypses is granted his humanity. -
